Shelties and Sunflowers enrolls its dogs in positive dog training classes that teaches real-world situations and encourages good behavior through fun and informative group lessons. Positive dog training focuses on rewarding good behavior instead of punishing naughty behavior.
All shelties and rescue dogs must successfully complete the following courses:
- Adult Level 1
- Adult Level 2
- AKC Canine Good Citizen
- AKC Canine Good Citizen Test

William (Bill) E. McDonald is a writer, business owner and retired (1993) Air Force veteran. Mr. McDonald's passion for writing children's books arose from his concern, as a father and grandfather, about traumatic, childhood experiences that are having a direct impact on our children's health and wellbeing.
